KRUPA PRARDHANA DHYANA MANDIRAM was established at Mangalagiri on 7th April 1989 by Pastor.Bethu Vivek. The first worship service started with one person in a Government school in Mangalagiri. After eight months, it was shifted to a rented building near Vadlapudi road center, Mangalagiri and the church grew steadily in faith and number.
In the year 2001 church received an ultimatum to vacate the rented place within 21 days. This adverse situation turned out to be blessing in disguise.
The church gathered together and prayed for a permanent place. By the grace of God we bought a land and constructed a shed and dedicated on 21st day.
Very soon, the church out grew the shed and it was further extended. Eventually, in the year 2007 the fully functional building for church was completed.
Once again, the church has outgrown the building and we have two worship services on Sundays.
During the year 2010 God gave burden to our pastor for Guntur city. In the same year, we started the church in a rented building and continued for 3 years. Even here, the church faced a similar problem with the rented building. Just as we did in 2001 for the Mangalagiri church, the church prayed for a permanent place for workshop. God in His amazing grace enabled us to purchase a land and construct a temporary shed to continue the worship. The church was dedicated for the Glory of God on the 5th May 2013 where the worship continues.
Pastor Bethu Vivek was born into a Hindu family in a town at Metpalli, Karimnagar district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Pastor Vivek's mother first accepted Christ as her personal savior in his family. She fervently prayed for the salvation of her son and family. In the year 1986, Pastor Bethu Vivek accepted Jesus Christ and subsequently received God's call for ministry. In order to train himself for ministry, he pursued theological education in Maranatha Veda Patasala which is in Vijayawada.
God gave him a vision for Mangalagiri. As a missionary, he moved to Mangalagiri with his wife and 2 years old daughter and 18 days old son. As he is from Telangana region and God called him to Andhra region he and his family faced many struggles regarding language, cultural and financial matters but our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ never put him down in any of the situations in his life.
God gave him promise that "I have chosen you I will do signs and wonders in your ministry don't be afraid" this promise encouraged our pastor greatly. He is gifted in preaching and teaching the word of God. From the year 2007 through his teaching he is supporting a Bible college called Therismos Veda Vidya Peetham in Vijayawada which is a part of Vikasita Paricharyalu and at present he is acting as a Dean of Academics.
